On December 23, 2009, Talitha Black was diagnosed with a brain tumor. At the age of 16 months, she began intense chemotherapy.

The Goal: Raise $50,000 by Nov 31, 2010 through generous donations and sponsorships

The Black family has the responsbility to be with and comfort Talitha as she undergoes chemotherapy. We have the opportunity to help watch over Talitha by relieving some of the financial burden that the Black family is experiencing.

As a result of the brain surgery in December of 2009, Talitha lost her ability to talk, walk, and eat and has been much more like a little baby. The good news is that prior to beginning chemotherapy, her speech entirely returned, she was sitting up again, the coordination in her left hand and arm were dramatically improving, and she was eating normally.

Talitha began induction cycle #1 of chemotherapy on January 18, 2010. After a week in the hospital, she returned home briefly until high-risk fevers sent her back for another week to the PCMC. She began induction cycle #2 on February 12, 2010.

Help make a difference in Talitha’s life. Help watch over her. Donate now.
